Definitely check with a vet to see if there is a medical reason (infection). We have an 11 year old German Shepherd that was having all kind of incontinence problems & our vet put her on the highest dose of Proin & estrogen. When that didn't work he referred us to a specialist to have sonograms done to be certain there was no tumors/problems. The specialist recommended using Corn Silk which is a natural medicine and used in humans for incontinence. Our dog is over 100 pounds and it took about 2 weeks to figure out dosage but for 10 months now she is never incontinent. We have been able to cut the amount of Proin in half. Our vet was fine with us using the corn silk with the Proin but said he had never heard of it before and has been very happy with the results we have had. I order it from a website called Pure Formulas and it is $4.00 for a bottle of 100 and shipping is free. She gets 3 in the a.m. and 3 in the p.m. Good luck and I know what you are feeling-was very frustrating for us and her.

I personally dislike Countryside vet... Wish I could remember the one Dr. name that we dealt with, but I'm drawing a blank, rude woman though with no compassion towards her clients... I took my cat there back in '08 or '09 for a teeth cleaning, and they removed every single one of her teeth, gave us no update or a warning prior to picking her up, charged us over $600 and she ended up dying as a result of it... My MIL also had a bad experience there with her dog, with the same woman, also over a tooth issue... In my personal experiences, Cornerstone in Lockport, Randeleigh in Gasport or Dr. Lewis' second location on the Blouvard in Amherst, All Creatures in Amherst, and Wright's Corners Animal Care Center are all great vets, but kinda pricey.

If you want the very best vet, go to Dr Mikes Furry Friends. He's not cheap, but he truly is amazing. I've been going for around 15 years or more. I have a cat with a mammory tumor, my old vet described a horrendous surgery to me to remove it - I was so shaken I had to get a 2 nd opinion. Went to Dr Mike - it was a easy surgery, and I will be forever grateful to him for not putting my baby through something unnecessary.

I would check out Dr. Hardy at Countryside Vet in Lockport, just had mouth surgery for my dog-the whole thing cost $800 (his gums were growing over his teeth) but to pull his four teeth it was around $150-200. Buffalo (Erie Co) SPCA. We lost our 13 yr old Pit Bull 3 days after Thanksgiving in 2016. It was awful. To make matters worse it was almost 4 pm on a Saturday. I called them, near hysterical, and they said to bring her in even though they were near closing. The staff were incredibly kind and offered several options as for the return of her cremains. A few weeks after her passing I unexpectedly received a sympathy card from them, handwritten with our beloved Baby's paw print in ink inside. Good luck to you!

Dr Gerber on Military Rd NF I’m sorry for your loss. It is very difficult. I didn’t have my girl cremated. They made me a clay paw print and gave me a lock of her hair. It is very expensive to have just your dog cremated. They usually do a mass, and u get some ashes.

If you're willing to take a short drive down the thruway to Corfu, the Darien/Corfu Vet Clinic is amazing. A friend told me about the vet in Darien and he was wonderful. Very friendly doctor and staff, and I spent $318 total for both cats, including extra pain meds and they kept them overnight to make sure they were stable to go home. I recommend them all the time!

At this point, a groomer wouldn't be any help.. especially if teeth need to be extracted. Also groomers can brush teeth but it's no help if you aren't able to brush regularly at home. I would be more than happy as a groomer to help you brush them, so you can maintain them at home. Also I noticed you mentioned woven hair around the teeth... That hair should be shaved by the groomer regularly on a six week schedule! ❤️
