Khan Academy is a great place to start for a free supplemental program. You can make an account for your daughter with you as her coach and track progress as well. khanacademy.org

I suspect, though I can't say for certain, that the new math program is being driving by Common Core. It's beginning to be implemented across the country. Teaching Textbooks is an incredible program! My 9 yo daughter and 11 yo son both LOVE IT! This is great because math is not my strongest subject!
