The London Small Business Centre offers an Access to Professionals program: http://www.sbcentre.ca/access-professionals.php?Accounting+Advice-1 $20 for 30 minutes. Really, it's a way to get some basic questions answered about your needs and level of service you may require as well as to meet the accountant to see if you want to work with them.

We worked a bit with Rebecca Briley at RLM for a bit. She helped us streamline our investments to save the most taxes (TFSA, RRSP and RESPs). She also helped when we were investigating hiring a nanny. And she checked over previous years taxes which I did myself to make sure I didn't miss anything.
