Rmp motors is the best but he is choosy with his clients so don't barter with him. There is also Charlie at near the airport who is good (416) 823-2269. I've never owned anything but bmws. I trust Rocco at Rmp with my m3
Robert B. replied:
Rocco from RMP Motors hes honest and cheap. http://www.rmpmotors.com/

Columbus Automotive (near dixie and derry). T: (416) 882-1439. Ask for Ivo. He's very trustworthy, honest, knowledgeable and the only person I would trust to work on my M4

I always had a great experience with my Volvo at Fanshawe Motors. Only had one issue which Adrian went above and beyond to rectify.

Autobahn Motors. Took my similarly old VW to them alot.
Thurchill replied:
There’s a place in Kilworth that does old German cars!
enzowasgreat replied:
I would second Fanshawe Motors. We have had quite a few older Volvos and they always did a great job on them. They were also really transparent about what needed to be done now and what could wait.

Does anybody know an HONEST and RELIABLE mechanic/auto body shop in London? I know nothing about cars and unfortunately, there are too many crooks in this business. :(
Luke L. replied:
I'm out of the trade (Though I do work in the summer for Redditors!) but I recommend my buddy Andrew Cardinal at Meineke on Dundas E. He's the foreman there, he used to work for me. He's a WOW geek and one of us in general. Bodywork wise, I really don't know anyone - since that trade is basically insurance work, any retail work is ALWAYS expensive. The guys at PAG Collision on Florence at Oxford were good guys and did great work when I was in the trade, but it's been like 8 years now.
DOES ANYONE KNOW A GOOD VOLVO MECHANIC IN LONDON OR AS FAR AS TO WOODSTOCK?? I'm already aware of Ricky Ratchet's, Rick's on off Airport and For Wheels Auto Care.

Looking for a mechanic who used to be in Beachville. He specialized in high performance cars (Vettes) and did engine mods.
Keith D. replied:
Not sure, Steve. He did a total engine for my cousin. Cam, dynotune, etc. Looking for someone for my own Vette. Did you mean Vette shop? Is he still around?
Clayton H. replied:
Brad Vandepoel is the guy who owned The Vette shop. It's closed, but I'm guessing he wasn't the guy who did your cousins car.
Dwayne S. replied:
Terry Thompson in Woodstock used to do alot of vettes and chevys, Not sure what hes doing now or where he is. He used to work at Elliot bros. with me.
