Anyone have any suggestions for a great hair salon and make up artist in the neighbourhood?

Wabi sabi on Dundas st. has great hairstylists and also located onsite is SugarMama Spa where Natasha is a fabulous esthetician/make up artist. Aveda products.......all natural. Being a former esthetician/makeup artist myself I found their services topnotch and friendly. https://www.facebook.com/wabisabihair/?fref=ts or http://wabisabihair.ca/services

Chantel at Style House Salon is great. I'm sure the other staff are wonderful too, she's just who I've seen. They're always very quick to respond to my Facebook messages and last minute appointment requests. I believe they're actually right next to Wabi Sabi. ;)

Go to any Barber shop, and just bring a photo of how you want your hair cut. Don't need to explain your life to anyone. Or look into selling your hair if it's that long,

I haven't been but Brass Anchors was started by one of Eastown's former employees and I was told that she's queer and definitely has trans friends.
backstgartist replied:
I'd recommend Eastown Barbershop. I've definitely seen pics of traditionally 'male' haircuts on both female and male identified people. In fact, I was just looking at their reviews and one commenter says "LGBTQ friendly and has high quality barbers". https://www.facebook.com/eastownbarbershop/

The Elevated Barbers are Trans friendly. ( [https://elevatedbarbersinc.com](https://elevatedbarbersinc.com) ) They have recently changed (a number of them used to be part of Authentic Barbers who had been at pride the last two years, but it has now closed, and the individuals working there made Elevated Barbers.) One of my trans friends and myself go there (specifically to the Barber Brett), and we have always been treated with utmost respect. It's located in Downtown London.

I am not trans but I am a lady who likes to have a boys haircut and Salon Entrenous is amazing! Carrie-Lynn specifically is great as she herself has the same haircut and style so she gets it. Every time I go they come up with a new style and it is always funky and cool- not just a 3 all around and trim the top to match. They’ll give me an undercut or fun design to keep the look stylish. I also went in one day asking to cut it all off and they made the process amazing, you won’t regret it!
