Chuck's Bakery on Calumet in Valpo (I think it's now Heinz's Bakery, but everyone calls it Chuck's) is great for doughnuts, breads, and cakes. If you're looking for cupcakes or cakes, Designer Desserts on Lincolnway (by the courthouse) in Valpo is great! There are also several different people in Lowell who do baked goods, but don't have a store front.
