If you've not done 1099 before, and you have experience being an payroll employee, my experience is that taking care of your responsibility to file federal tax payments quarterly is one of the most important ways to keep from digging yourself into a hole. I have a person at H&R Block. With a CPA often you get a flunky filing turbo tax on your behalf. So you pay a big fee for not much.

Richard ~ You are looking at what goes on a Schedule A. You will be able to write off Your Mortgage Interest & Taxes. You DO NOT NEED a CPA. INBOX ME. I am an ACCOUNTANT, and TAX PREPARER. I own my BUSINESS. The Mortgage Company WILL send you a STATEMENT, or CALL THEM.
