For an alternative option, I have to say that the Vet in Colmenar where I went yesterday with my friend was also very good. I'm not going to go into details but the poor doggy had bits hanging out the wound (ouch!) so he needed another operation, not just new stitches. The Vet, Jose Ignacio, performed the operation, mended patiently the bucket collar, gave my friend a collar to go around the dog's neck which although not new, was still good and prescribed the medicines, all for just 40 Euros! I have to add that being his day off, he was in Malaga and came all the way back to Colmenar for this. He's not my Vet so I'm not making publicity, I just think that it's good we all animal lovers have plenty to choose from in an emergency, also thinking of the distance and the timing, which is of the essence for our four legged companions in an emergency. Jose Ignacio's numbers are 952718002 and 617475857. He speaks a bit of English.
