Well, Jeanne Johnson Stolaas at Doula Birthing Assistant Care is amazing, but I'm not sure what her availability is in that short notice. I've heard Brittany Berghammer is great, too, but I think she had to take a break from practicing for a while. I'd start there and see if either of those ladies can help, and if they aren't available, I'd ask who they suggest.

Right now, because of COVID, you can only have one support person. Hopefully by the time you are ready to deliver that will have changed.

They no longer allow tub births for safety reasons.

None of the hospitals in Huntsville allow more than 1 support person, so unless you want your doula over your partner, there can be no in person doula support. I gave birth in September and actually switched my OBGYN and hospitals to one in Tennessee so I could have a second support person (my doula). I have nothing but great things to say about my experience with Rocket City Doulas and was able to have my first unmedicated birth with her support. I’m happy to answer any specific questions if you have any!
