Seriously depends on your insurance! Do you have an HMO or PPO? If you have an HMO - then go to a walk in clinic or ER or your primary care Dr. Otherwise, choose your favorite hospital website, search for an Orthopedic Dr and go to the best rated one, that also does surgery. Surgeons are better due to the more hours for qualifications.

You may want to start with a PM&R (physical medicine and rehab) doctor. If you go to a surgeon, you will end up with surgery even if you don't necessarily need it. If you definately need a surgical fix, your PM&R doc will tell you and then you can trust that. Beaumont Royal Oak has a great group.
