The Mansion Hill Inn is gorgeous but I stayed there years ago and was really disappointed. We paid for a package for our wedding and it was a total bust.

Haven't stayed there, but I lived about a block from The Livingston and it looked majestic from the outside. Really close to downtown and the lake too! http://livingstoninnmadison.com/

I've heard a lot of great things about Walking Iron B & B in Mazomanie. TripAdvisor has it at a 5 star rating out of 106 reviews. I lived in Mazo in my teen years and it's a cute, tiny town with a few good restaurants and art galleries along the downtown thoroughfare. It's also about fifteen minutes from Spring Green/House on the Rock and about 30 minutes from Devil's Lake and the Dells. It's also only about 25 minutes from Madison. http://walkingironbedandbreakfast.com/
Looking for a B&B on the S.W. of Madison or area. Anybody know of a good B&B near Verona, My Horbe, Blue Mounds or even on the far S.W. side of Madison?

Make sure to check out AirBnB options. There will probably be more options on there than actual registered ones.

Not sure if it's too south but there's Cameo Rose in Belleville.
