Hi Lisa. We had Dr Bird for Ethan. He was wonderful, very understanding, and he worked miracles in Ethan's mouth. We saw him in his Verona Office which is about a block down from Reddan Soccer.

Lana Bowdoin at Madison Orthodontics. She did my adult braces and I really enjoyed her. You'll find that a decent amount of dentists also do braces on the side. I'd caution going with a dentist and at least get a consult with an orthodontist.

FWIW, I just got started with https://smiledirectclub.com/ It's Invisalign without the price tag. It's about 1/3 of the prices quoted to me by orthodontists in the area. There is a touch of DIY to it (you make your impressions at home, might have to file some aligners to make them smooth against your gums) -- but the price difference makes the effort worth it to me. I can give you a referral code that will save you a little cash up front if you're interested. Note, this is only a good option for lesser problems (crowding and such). If you have significant bite problems, you need traditional braces and an ortho.

I went to Dr. Hatcher in Madison as a teenager and again when I had some problems a few years ago. It seemed half of Madison got their braces there when I was a teenager.

I highly recommend Complete Dental. There are offices in Madison, Huntsville and Athens.
We have Dr Phillips (Phillips Ortho on Odana. Haven't had much work yet but seems like a good operation

Dr. Gregory Samuels referred our daughter to a good one, behind their clinic on Old Sauk Road, where it intersects with Gammon. Although that was back 15 years, I'd sure trust a Dr. Samuels referral.

Dr Chip Bird - he lives in the 'hood, super nice, and most importantly his offices are directly across from JMM. Alli gets herself there and back without missing much school, they are super prompt.

First Choice Ortho Dr Trent Cox does some amazing work:) they cost a little bit more but use the most up to date brackets and stuff. I strongly encourage Invisalign when you can... Kids keep their mouths cleaner. Less cavities and white spots when they are done with tx
Karyl R. replied:
Both kids had Dr. Peterman, really nice and across the street from Memorial. Super convenient location
