Does anybody know the process (or beginning) of having someone removed as Power of Attorney for an elderly person in her right mind?
Jean S. replied:
Draw up a new Power of Attorney, any prior Powers of Attorney are automatically null and void. No court dates are necessary and you don't need to use the prior attorney. Contact an Elder Law attorney for guidance. The place she is living in should be able to refer you if not I know a good Elder Law firm in Saugus that can help you. Good luck!
