I suffered excruciating pain for years, and there came a point where I literally could not put any weight on my feet, walking was out of the question. Tried insoles and specialized footwear, all kinds of exercises, even injections. Finally the thing that miraculously made me pain-free was a medicine called Feldene, prescribed by Dr Malhotra at IHB. What a saviour! I can now do everything 'normal' people do. Alhamdulillah!

thanks a lot evryone!I hav gone thru medications,physiotherapy and insoles too from al farabi pharmacy.Am also wearing Burkinstock and Picadilly.The pain has reduced but comes back after some hrs.Will definetely try Feldene after consulting Dr Malhotra as suggested by@Neeham Malsi.Thanks all.

I ignored it for months and then finally got steroid injections in them because it was so bad. It's come back now so I'm religiously doing the stretches and having sports massage. I think in my case it comes from having a bad back and all the muscles in my legs seizing up one after another. I use ice on it a lot as well and wear slippers or sports shoes in the house because I feel like the marble floors are bad on them. When it was really severe the physio taped me up but you can google the process yourself: how to tape for planter fasciticis. You can try using gel sole heel inserts by Dr.Scholls..u will find them at the pharmacy..They r pretty useful..

Speaking from personal experience, first treat the problem with someone who is medical and try and find out the cause...then sort the shoes. Recommend the German hospital but I am sure there are other places too.. I was told this is a very common complaint... In my case, walking bare foot on hard floors was the culprit!! All the best for getting pain free feet again!
