TEAM (Tate's Every Animal Matters) is a mobile veterinary clinic that travels statewide. They spay, neuter and do shots at a reasonable price. You may have to travel to Torrington or another location but they are very reasonable and I had good experiences with them. Mark Carlson is an excellent vet with tons of excellent experience. Don't know what he charges though.

go to friends of animals.org and buy the certificate from them they have a list of vets that accept the certificate for you to go to for male cats I think its $40

New Milford Animal Welfare on Dodd Rd. They are wonderful there. I got 2 kittens Nov 2013. Physical exam,Neutered, wormed and shots. Cost of exam, neutering, shots, deworming etc was reasonable - would have been much more if I had to take kittens to a vet. If you can't afford their fee, perhaps you should consider your ability to afford the future cost of responsible care of your pet, let along 2 pets.

Friends of Animals will send you a certificate for low cost, check out their website and Dr Elwell or Dr Carlson will take them and they are great

Friendsofanimals.org has certificates you can buy for local vets. $65 for spay and $51 for neuter. I do believe Dr. Elwells office in Roxbury accepts them. His office is now called Roxbury animal hospital.
