Try redbeacon.com. It's a service just like angies list, but doesn't cost ya 19.99 a month. The contractors are licensed and background checked. Put in you need a plumber with a brief description of what you need done and you'll start getting bids from hourly local contractors by either email or text messaging. It's one of home depots businesses and I've used em down here.
