If you want to drive 40 minutes to Chippewa Lake, The restaurant is "The Oakes". It's on the lake, you can dine in or out. It's beautiful, romantic and wonderful food. It's a place to go for a special occasion. Go on line and check it out. Oh, at Christmas time it is decorated so beautiful!!

Uncle Johns. Sit at the window and watch Mansfield folks at play on the square. Men playing cards, every age on bicycles, motorcycles, young adults playing guitars and singing, people window shopping, the view of the rolling hills and churches, make a wish in the beautiful fountain, all of the potted planters, and oh yeah the food was outstanding!
