Jacob's Electrical Repair. Saul is the man. Used him a few times and I've found him to be very reasonable and thorough. The first time he came out, he explained that the fix was very simple and showed me how to do it myself because he didn't want to charge me for something pretty easy (obviously tipped him though).

Avoid Milestone and A#1 Air. They're salesmen first, and electricians second. They'll charge almost double what the job normally costs and try to upsell you on other stuff you don't need.

We hired Noel with North Texas Electrical Services and were beyond pleased. He did quality work, did the job right the first time, and didn't try to upsell me on anything, also explained everything he was going to do in detail while giving me a quote and managed to do it in a way that wasn't "talking down to the little lady" like lots of people tend to do. Another picky friend also hired him and was very happy with his work too: Noel Pizana North Texas Electrical Services469-586-8036noel_ntxes@outlook.comhttp://ntxelectricalservices.com/contact-us/ He is familiar with the old houses and their electric systems - ours is the same age as yours.

Jesse at Fort Worth electric just did a ton of electrical work on our remodel. He's a great guy who won't bills hit you. Highly recommended.

Honestly, Milestone is a great company for Electrical, HVAC, plumbing, etc. Pricing was very good and their techs are professionals.

You could do both of these yourself with a short YouTube video.

Brian Wilson electrical contractor 419-295-5045. He is reasonably priced, licensed and insured. He does a great job and shows up when he says he is. (It amazes me how many people don't follow through in the construction field)
