High lodge at Brandon is an hour away but highly recommend it. Once in the forest there's no worry about cars and endless trails to follow. There's also loads for the kids to play on and a cafe. Rutland water is good also and I've heard Wicken Fen nr Ely is good too so we'll be trying this later in the week.

We are going to try Hinchingbrooke Park today as its closer. We will do High Lodge at weekend as its a bit of a drive so will make a full day of it
