Tania asks: Can anyone recommend a good dermatologist in town especially for eczema?
Nareve R. replied:
Miss 10 has had eczema since about 2 yrs old. Mainly on legs but ankles and feet being extremely susceptible and sometimes weeping quite bad. All Drs we saw just kept prescribing steroid cream after steroid cream. This helped clear up but as soon as stooped using would come back. Dr Elmarie H at university put us onto Advantan which is a fatty oil based cream, smallest tube but has cleared and kept eczema away! May help for the shirt term while waiting to see specialist

As a past long time sufferer of eczema and no longer having a problem. Try taking gluten out of your diet. It works. Amy Summer is a great naturopath here in Gero and knows what she is doing. Doesn't force any supplements on you just works with your diet.

Geraldton Health Foods has one in store every Friday!! Christiena Ennis is brilliant, she actually makes her own cream here in Geraldton called Dermatelligent! Or call the shop on 0899214989 to make an appointment!!

Thanks Dianne Tania if you are interested in naturopathic treatment you can learn more about what I do at www.herbienaturopathy.com or Herbie Naturopathy & Beauty. I would also recommend Christiena Ennis at Geraldton Health Foods, her creams are quite amazing. She is a herbalist not a dermatologist. Eczema is very often related to food sensitivities and the immune system so it is really important to address your diet and lifestyle even if you choose to go the dermatologist route.
