I've been through about 5 doctors here in town since I moved here 4.5 years ago. They have all sucked at being a doctor, not to mention the outrageous wait times to be seen, most times an hour and a half sitting in the waiting room to be called back, and then about another 45-60 mins for the dr to even come in to see you). Now I go to Banner on Porter Rd and see Dr. Rishi Basnyat. He's a wonderful person, wonderful dr that actually listens and shows care/concern to you, and I can be out of there in under an hour start to finish.

I left Agave more than two years ago due to lackluster treatment and solid healthcare planning. I love Sara Allen at Dignity Health Maricopa. She put my health care needs first, worked on a solid plan with me, and always listens and is concerned. I have 29 years of chronic migraines (about 18-20 per month) more controlled and found a few problems that have been fixed thanks to her..Even after I received a completely different (and wrong) diagnosis from Agave. She's so attentive. I will be sad if I ever move away and have to find someone else.

Sara Allen is amazing. I've been ill for 8 years. I've had many tests, seen specialists, and had tentative cancer diagnosis. Sara listened and got me to the correct specialist who diagnosed me, finally! I can now manage my pain.

IMHO, Agave is awesome now, 2017. Smart, expert, great interface with AARP-United Healthcare, Dr S and his team have great communication skills and sense of humor, good online presence and tools with a really usable user interface, up-to-date technology throughout the practice, and good interface from their practice to local pharmacies. Accurate billing, good knowledgeable understanding re: what insurances are covering. Today's Agave Family Physicians rocks. I'm a happy patient there. I'm sure there are other great MDs and ODs and naturopaths here in Maricopa, but Agave is my choice.
