Melanie Quesne . Hi if you are asking what the Gym is called, it is a fitness room within Marsden Sports hall in Fall lane. there is no membership fee and it costs £2.50 per session for as long as you like! You are welcome to look round or ask any que stions. It is a charitable organisation and 'Not For Profit'. We are all volunteers! Tuesday mornings open at 9 ish till 10 or will stay until 11 if anyone wants to use the 2 nd hour!! We currently have 3 ladies regularly on Tuesday mornings and more people are welcome. we can arrange an introduction to the machines which will probably be on an evening. Every weekday evening the Gym is open when the main hall is in use. Call 07983440482. Regards Chris Hewitt. Sports Hall Bookings.

Wharfside Workout on Comercial Street, Slaitwaite is really good as is the sports centre in Slaithwaite. The one at Marsden was very basic last time I went.

Marsden Sports Hall is a not for profit charity. ALL monies are ploughed back into the place, no one is paid a penny. We have been here for over 30 years. We have a large main hall for football, badminton, basketball, cricket and tennis practice, heavily booked at prime times through the winter. There are changing rooms and showers, and the fitness room. We are currently on a slow..refurbishment plan which we can only do as and when we build up our savings! We are run by a small committee with trustees and volunteers. At the moment we more volunteers in order to open at more flexible times! You are more than welcome to look around as Lucy said and see what you think. By the way the gym is currently £2.50 for as long as you like, no joining fee and is the next phase to benefit from the refurb.
