[Brian White and Associates](https://www.attorneybrianwhite.com/) - he has 10 years of experience, will call you back when you contact him, asks no retainer fee. His office is in the Upper Kirby/Greenway Plaza area.

I've worked with Chad Pinkerton on more than a few occasions in everything ranging from mass tort to smaller PI cases. He's good and I consider him a trustworthy colleague. Skip Jim Adler. His strength is big money 18 wheeler cases where he will devote resources, but otherwise, he's a fairly standard attorney.

Most PI firms' offices are downtown or somewhere in the Beltway; I think Jim Adler's is somewhere towards Baytown. I wouldn't base my choice of attorney on the convenience of their office location because you're probably not going to have to go there more than a couple of times anyway. Also, I would suggest you go see a doctor ASAP because the longer you wait after the accident, the more the insurance company will use that against you to claim you weren't "really" hurt and just belatedly decided to try a money grab.

[Hugh Howerton](https://texaccidentlawyer.com/) I used him for a case and I was satisfied with the outcome. His office is closer to the west side of Houston I think but that didn't really matter because I never went to his office. I chose him because he was board certified and I prefer to deal with the attorney as opposed to their paralegals or admin team.

Question for my attorney friends here on facebook. I have a close relative that wants to adopt. What agencies do you recommend? Anyone done an international adoption...
Veronica G. replied:
In order to make the adoption you will need to find an accredited or approved adoption service provider and to find one you need get in contact with the DIF in Mexico they will provide you with the list that are registered to do the connection between USA and Mexico it can be a independent lawyer or and agency for that there is a link where you can get more information all this is very important to do and follow as instructed because Mexico is part of The Hague Convention and on this coming July there is going to be more changes and requirements for the safety of the kids. adoption.state.gov Intercountry Adoption
Veronica G. replied:
By the way I am not an attorney but this area in particular The Hague Convention is very interesting and challenging.
