Can anyone recommend a good naturopath who doesn't cost an arm & a leg to see? I have been sick with one thing after another this winter & western medicine doesn't seem...
Just looked it up, I saw Dr. Barton, the main guy there.

Sarah my mom went to Mark Mincolla and he's amazing. He creates a natural diet specifically for you and often with the addition of natural supplements. I know he books out pretty far but check out his website. He just came out with a book called Whole Health. There is tons of information and videos on his website too. http://www.markmincolla.com/site/

Sarah...I recommend Dr Dan@Dr. Dan's Natural Healing Center in Newburyport...he's an MD, acupuncturist, GAPS practitioner, Weston Price guidelines & does muscle testing to see where the problems lie & how to bring the body back into balance! various protocols to utilize which are tailor made for you depending on what is going on. Have you looked into Lyme? Dr Dan also is a Lyme literate doc...which needs to be addressed before anything else can be healed.

Sarah, perhaps a series of acupuncture treatments and a look at eastern medicine. East Earth Trade Winds is good place to start. I'm sure the acupuncturist could make some recommendations.

I had good experiences with Winchester Natural Health (I think that's the name) but I'll have to look up the doc's name another time. They were affordable too.

just saw this and thought it a good share: called the worlds foremost open-access natural medicine database....GreenMedInfo.com. perhaps just good to know about too...

My friend Dr Robyn Robyn Giard is great, but it may be a bit of a drive for you. She's in Exeter NH.

Swear by my shaman acupuncturist Wendy Root on Norfolk St in Central Square. http://wendyroot.com/. She does acupuncture, cranio sacral and trad massage, tarot readings, nutrition consultation and herbal medicine, and probably more that I don't know about. Pure awesome healing goodness personified.

Sarah, A well rounded healthful (no junk foods) diet including raw foods, leafy greens, lots of filtered water, vitamins, exercise, a 1/2 hour steam and sauna session (toxin elimination), cold water hydrotherapy(immune system booster), a good amount of summertime SUN exposure, (very important for natural vitamin D) 8 hours with solid REM and DEEP sleep... daily positive thinking and weekly fasting. Since I started doing these things last year, I have not been sick at all. I walk around, hug, shake hands, and work with people with colds all the time. Be your own doctor! Nature has us covered.

Technically i can not prescribe any treatments.but what i can do is tell you how i stopped feeling like yuk. First.I stopped using cologne. The skin is the largest organ oyr bodies have. Most colgnes and perfumes fave some really garmful chemicals and so do deoderants.especially uf you have allergies to mold spores or dust. I started drinking proteen shakes in the morning. 5 lb bag at Cosco..Muscle Milk or equivelant..uses water not milk. Use echanasia. Can add to shake. Provides energy and helps reduce infections etc. Start with this a see if it help
