The Curry Masion, they include free breakfast and happy hour. Breakfast is great and really enjoyed happy hour. Only bought lunch out, and they will give you ideas where to go! Walk every where but quiet, with pool and hot tub.

An Island Oasis (B&B). Walking distance to Duvall Street and all attractions. Continental Breakfast. Private bath and kitchen. It's like having an apartment. Weekday rates (Sun-Thurs nights) much more reasonable than Weekend (Fri and Sat nights). Enjoy!
Anyone been to the Outer Banks? Any suggestions for location? Was thinking Nags Head but only because it's the place I've most often heard of and I think there's a lot...

Just be sure to check not all beaches are dog friendly in season. Southern Shores isn't.

Corolla or Corolla Light. Bacchus for wine, cheese and exceptional sandwiches. Cosmos for pizza. Timbuck II for shopping. Drive down to Duck for Blue Point restaurant (excellent). Go to the lighthouse in corolla light-cool little shops with some local art, a history/nature center and a tiny little authentic BBQ place. We've been going for 26 years and always bring the dogs. A lot of houses are dog friendly! Realtors are Carolina Designs, Twiddy, Village Realty. They're very friendly and can help you find exactly what you're looking for!

If you have young children, Corolla Light is the perfect place. They have shuttle buses that run to the beach if you're not within walking distance. They have 2 pools with a walkway right down to the beach. They have basketball courts & lots of things for kids to do. My family & my brother's family shared different houses there for 9 years. (When we 1st started going there, the horses ran wild & were often spotted on our property or would run down the beach. They have since been contained & no longer run wild which is kind of sad.). We then moved onto Pine Island as the kids grew up & we needed a much larger house, & Pine island has huge homes. Honestly, you can't go wrong anywhere in OBX but it just depends on what you're interested in doing.
