As a long time foster,having Natures Miracle in the house is a must. It completely removes the odor as it is enzyme based. It can't however be used after you use a traditional cleaner as they render the enzyme powerless. Best to go with a pro at this point. When we installed new carpet we put down 'water resistant 'padding, gives you a good window to clean up !

Called them and they cleaned it and stain never came back like it does with other carpet cleaners! They even showed up with roses for me!
