ISO:
A good eye doctor in Mena. Possibly a sliding pay scale?
Let's hear some opinions please and thank you!
Sheri J. replied:
I have used Dr. Bell and Dr. Liles. Idk about a sliding pay scale. Just something you would have to ask.
Jessica L. replied:
Dr. Bell is great. I think my son's exam was $69.
Melinda L. replied:
Dr Bell is great an his office is in Walmart

I personally have had terrible experiences with Dr. Bell. I actually go elsewhere and pay out of pocket, instead of using my insurance now, since no one else in town accepts it. He under-corrected my eyesight. Then, they refused to fix it when I pointed out the issue. He wouldn't even do a re-examination to see if they were, in fact, under-corrected because he "didn't have time for that." He also refused to tell me my pupillary distance, which I need to order glasses online (My insurance only pays up to $100 for either glasses or contacts, so I order glasses online. Cheaper.). When I asked to see my file, he said not to bother because he didn't measure my pupillary distance as part of my exam, so I couldn't get it off of there, either. BTW, it's illegal to deny your patients access to their medical records. When I insisted, he measured my eyes using a paper ruler. Completely unprofessional behavior, and it resulted in me wasting my health insurance benefits for the year (since my contacts were not the correct prescription). I hear good things about him, but my experience was easily the worst one I've ever had with an eyecare provider.

Doctor Bell has always been an excellent eye doctor for me and my kids. We have never had issues, in the last 15 years.
