Mj, I honestly can't remember what it cost...but---with labour and everything I remember it was NOT expensive. You are friends with Blanche...she had it installed throughout her house. more recently. Ours is a lighter coloured flooring...# 62627...Armstrong flooring. Google it? We have had people come into our house and get down and feel it to see if it's actually hardwood...It's funny, actually. You can also get a thicker version, I belive (cushioned). And---if your floors are uneven? It works. Doesn't split. Can't say enough positive about it. BUT---yes, it is a bit slippery...not different than hardwood though...we have that too. At least when the dogs slip, it's softer.
