Not sure what it's like personally , but there is a restaurant called the cardamom pod in broadbeach not too far from the Oasis shopping centre. It's always busy from the times I've walked passed it. And it has some good ratings online.

Viet De Lites Restaurant at Southbank is fantastic! Customs House at Riverside is beautiful and there are a handful at Riverside Centre....very nice!
