Looking for hair salon advice/recommendations (near Middleton/Westside if possible!) I have a work event I want to look nice for this week, and I need to get a haircut...

I can only comment on men's cuts, but [these guys](http://www.yelp.com/biz/dick-and-arnies-barber-shop-middleton) are awesome.

I'm a hair stylist (on the east side), so hopefully my recommendation is a trusted one. Lacey at Julia Grace is fantastic. You will pay $30 or a little more for a haircut though. http://www.juliagracesalon.com/. Otherwise RZ and Co. is good. AniU is good, but can be really pricey. But trust me when I say, that if you are wary, paying a little more is usually indicative of what you will get.

try hairea51 on yellowstone drive. amber is the sweetest, kindest, most honest person i know. the more she gets to know you the more she can customize your hairstyle to your personality. she will make you feel beautiful - no hairstylist vocabulary needed (even though she has 10 years experience.) 608-513-9114

i love love love Aniu. it's pretty expensive ($35 or so) but everyone i've seen there has done a fantastic job on my hair. Renee was my fav. :) it's right by Costco.
