Melissa S. replied:
I went to Turtel when I was a kid, he was in Red Bank but I think he's in Ocean now. Now I go to Frieman Ophthalmology in Red Bank. I think it's best to see an ophthalmologist if your plan covers it because they check for glaucoma and other stuff. I lost my glasses in the ocean in Wildwood as a kid, but I found them! Scariest 10 seconds of my young life, because I would have been blind for my whole vacation! I always wore an old pair in the ocean since then!

If you can get her written prescription from the last exam, there is a website that's cheap. I just ordered glasses for $33. Eyebuydirect.com. my neighbor uses them all the time and they are good glasses

The best is a Wills eye doctor in NJ. I used Dr Delardo for my daughter who was severely "crossed eyed". You would have to drive to the Cherry Hill area. But totally worth it.
Can anyone suggest a good optometrist in Middletown area

I got my first glasses through Dr. Miele back in 1972. He must be pretty old now.
