Highcroft vets at Silva house or their branch in Frome. Ask for Rob he is absolutely amazing! He is the only vet that has ever wrote to us because he was leaving Silva house before they changed hands as he was moving to Highcroft. (A complete A4 page!) Lucky for us high croft bought them and we can see Rob again!! Literally never had a better vet, very trust worthy and you know any advice he gives is genuine! We have a Boerbol (South African mastiff) and he is the only one we've ever had take interest in her breed etc, he will even get on the floor and play with her! Annabella has a long term health problem that's been going on for years and he's the only one that ever managed to crack it!! He doesn't over charge you for unnecessary treatment, just all around fantastic! I always ask for him and if he left tomorrow would 100% move vets to just be seen by him!! They have a few other good ones but he's just the best!

Nature vets are now part of the Bath vet group so a massive chain of practices. Midsomer Norton Vet at North Road are very good and independent so they don't have that feeling of a commercial chain.

I love Roger Harrison, but he is in Bath, Julian Road.

We've just tried 'The Vet' at Hengrove. They are fab and half the price of any vets around here. Booster jab - £11. A bitch having trouble in labour - £90, that included injections and care and a stay over. Clean and helpful plus they don't force sell any other products !!

I will never ever use Highcroft again, they now sadly own Silva House. A PLC who own over 300 vets practises and are ONLY interested in profit. I now use Golden Valley in Chew Magna

Natures vet in Paulton will charge you for an expensive operation then charge you again for a checkup a few days later.Surely that should be included in the cost of the operation ie.checking up on their own work!
