Masterson Method does great things for horses. It has anatomy and fieldwork requirements, and encourages further education.

I have looked up both equassage and the matterson method, but my equine massage therapist friend in arkansas recommended http://www.ne.indianaequinemassage.com/#2918 ....I am wanting to and my goal is to be certified I just can't afford it right now! I f anyone knows of any funding i would love to know about it!!! I volunteer at a therapeutic riding center that also has ot and speech therapists come out and use hippotherapy... I am at a level 1 hippotherapy training course this weekend in alberquerque new mexico with skyline therapy, and Compadres therapy from el Paso tx really helped me get here... Any advice on funding? I just graduated with my bachelors degree and might look into going to physical therapy school later, but with our recent military move i have put that on hold for now, but I would love to really stick with areas of horses since i am so passionate about them and have grown up with them

Yes, taking a massage course now! Learning that there is more than just massage to help the horse. Need to look for what is causing the pain and doing rehab to help the horse too. https://m.facebook.com/profile.php?id=210585679053772...

Beverly Brady at Midwest Natural Healing for Animals hands down. I had taken a prior certification course but felt there was a lot I still needed to learn. What a difference! So much more was taught, biomechanics, under saddle balancing, and so much more and the post class support and mentoring is phenomenal. Well worth the money and time!

Beverly Brady at Midwest Natural Healing for Animals is fantastic! I have learned more from her class in a month than I have learned from 18 years of riding experience! It's not just about the massage. She teaches body balacing, saddle fit and placemen t, and how to use essential oils. I have looked into quite a few other programs and there is none like MNHA! Another great quality is that she offers payment plans for those that can't afford to come up with $750+ at one time. I highly recommend anyone who has thought about doing equine massage to go to MNHA. It is unbeatable!
