FYI, Chimney cleanings are best done in the springtime for the best effectiveness. The summer sun beating down on chimneys all season long dries out and hardens the build up inside the chimney top that is exposed above the roof. This creates difficulty in cleaning the chimney thoroughly and efficiently. Just a heads up.. Also a spring cleaning give you the chance for an inspection of the chimney top at early season for repair services before the cold weather sets in. Hope this was informative and helpful.
