Harbor side hotel for harbor side cocktails or brunch, legal seafoods always safe and my favorite dim sum on the east coast is china pearl. John Harvard for hamburgers, pub fare. In Cambridge, cafe Pamplona off Mass ave in Harvard square, at the junctions of Bow and Arrow streets.

The Gardner Museum, take a walk around the north end at night and get dessert one of the Italian bakeries like Mikes Pastry, we always go to The Barking Crab for lunch or dinner. They have music and very young and casual.
