Check into GAPS protocol and diet. I'm preparing to do it to hopefully heal mine and my 2 kids food issues. It has helped a lot of people apparently. http://www.gapsdiet.com/. My naturopath helped with elimination diet to see what I was reacting to: http://www.minnesotanaturalhealth.com/

Allergy Associates in La Crosse, WI. I did shots for over a decade...my first allergist was super, they tested for over 80 allergens, etc..., then insurance made me change clinics(he was my allergist from high school in Des Moines), so I went to Park Nicollet...they don't test for as much, and so the shots were less effective for me, so I stopped getting them. I now drive twice a year to La Crosse for testing and they mail up oral drops that I put under my tongue.

Looking for an allergist who knows their stuff when it comes to Celiac's and cross-reactivity. Anyone have a recommendation?
Michelle J. replied:
We really like Dr. Thomas Helm. He actually has celiac himself, so he is really knowledgeable.
Jennifer H. replied:
What allergies are you dealing with? We started with Dr. Helm. My son is also allergic to eggs and nuts and had terrible seasonal allergies. We switched to LaCrosse Allergy Associates a little over a year ago and do sublingual immunotherapy for his food and seasonal. It has changed everything for the better pretty significantly.
Does anyone have an allergist in or near St. Louis Park they like?

we drive out to Plymouth to Allergy & Asthma Specialists - we really like Dr. Bransford.
Rachel B. replied:
Funny I've seen Dr Branford too. He's nice.
Jennifer Z. replied:
I see Dr. V at Park Nicollet, she is great! I can spell her whole last name if you want the info, I just have to look it up, because I always get it wrong!!
