Piano Tuners in the area? To the piano owners, can anyone recommend a good piano tuner in the Minneapolis area? We just moved a piano a couple hundred miles and it's in...

I wish I could tell you off the top of my head, my grandpa was a piano tuner before he passed. I'll ask my mom who she uses now, I'm sure they'll be good.

I like Torger Baland because you can schedule the appointment online and then you get email reminders when it's time to get it tuned again.
Twin Cities pianists, do you have a piano tuner/technician you would recommend? I've been using the same company for almost a decade, but I'm curious who/what else is...

I use Gordy Johnson. He might be a little pricier than that, but not much and he's really good

Dean Diers has done a great job for us for years. Good price. Total piano geek. www.dierspiano.com

You know Peter, I don't really have a person per se. Remind me, are you on an upright? Before reading the comments even, I was going to say I've heard good things about Gordon Johnson. Reading some of the comments now, it seems a few other people have used him... If all else fails, call me over and I'll "prepare" the piano for you no cost. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ce4TCth0 gGM
I really need to find a piano tuner in the north metro...I wouldn't think it would be THAT hard but I can't seem to accomplish this. Anyone know someone ?

I know this is irresponsible, but we haven't tuned our piano since 2001. It has moved across country twice during that time so you can imagine how out of tune it is....
