Can anyone recommend someone local who can reupholster a chair -
does good work - doesn't cost a ton --- thanks!

I used A-1 Foam & Upholstery in Moundsview a couple of years ago for my grandmother's dining room chairs and another upholstered chair, and I was very pleased with the results. I would caution, however, that the services are not inexpensive - it would probably be cheaper to buy new furniture. But if you have sentimental attachment to the pieces....

Free cycle is a great way to give furniture to someone who will actually use it! Just post your items, someone generally will respond really quickly and you can set up a pick up day/time. https://www.freecycle.org/
