I know your husband wants paper invitations, but we just did one with paperlesspost.com. We made our own graphic for the invitation (so that we could have Hebrew; pp only has English text), and even with the not-free option, it cost $16. The real upside is that it gives people an easy way to respond, give you an easy way to send reminders, and is an incredibly easy way to track responses.

I heard about using this tzedakah org for invitations, anyone ever use them?
