Ok got a John Deere generator 240 and 120 volt its 1970's but need some info on it where to go thanks.

Seen several at pioneer power type shows, but didn't look them over too closely. I looked at at the parts manuals on Deere.com, but found nothing on this particular generator. I even searched alternators... nothing. Would love to have one though!

Don't want to step on anyone's toes here, but DO NOT waste your money on overpriced manuals from Deere! Take it from a JD parts man, you will be very disappointed. They are scans of the originals, and very poor ones at that! As a few others have said on here, Davenport Tractor has very nice manuals that are well worth the money, which is less than the Deere ones anyway. They are printed on heavy paper, and the images have all been "cleaned," so unlike the Deere manuals, you can actually see them!
