Yes I was at the Yoga Institute recently and they have a specific course to teach seniors although this is assuming you already have the appropriate qualifications.

Hi Debra, I think your son attended yoga with my son Zane - he is still a teen but missing Nadia's classes too! He was so consistent, went for well over a year. Although not age specific everyone is welcome at the studio where i teach - Guringai Yoga Shala in Pittwater Rd Mona Vale. If he likes a stronger class there is Ashtanga with Debbie on Saturday mornings or Monday nights or with Fiona on Tuesday nights. Even in my beginners class on Thursday nights I have male and female students from 16 to 60 plus, we break down the postures and cover basic meditation and pranayama and touch on aspects of yoga history, philosophy or physiology without going too deep - there are drop in places available. Fabio who owns the studio is an inspiring teacher and has stronger dynamic classes or general hatha weekday mornings and over the weekend. Actually pretty much any class at the shala might have something of value for your son, he could always try out a few different teachers.
