We go to Affordable Care in Finleyville. I've never compared prices, but I never thought they were unreasonable, and I like the vets there along with the support staff. Westmoreland CountyHumane Society has clinic visits Saturday mornings. Must arrive between 9-11 to be seen. Usually have an hour wait or so. But the visit is $25 I think, then whatever meds they might prescribe.

Brush Run in Peters is very affordable. Also it may not necessarily be an allergic reaction... my dog had a skin thing going on and it was a kind of yeast infection. They were able to diagnose it by simply looking at skin cells under a microscope.

Dr. Frame there is wonderful! http://fixurpet.org/ Take a fecal sample with you, very good chance that it is a parasite, or a bacterial infection in the intestinal tract. Both are very easily diagnosed and taken care of! The sooner you get her in to be seen, the better off she will be!

I checked with Pet Supplies one day when they were doing that, and to me it seemed pretty expensive.

Meadowland vet hospital is by far the best around and reasonably priced. Dr. Dougherty is so good with animals

I took my daughter's puppy to Dr. Balzar, neuter, fixed hernia, microchipped, shots and 6 months of heartwarm was only about $200.

Dr Tummons is in Vanderbilt. Not really so interested in the money.

I at one time had allot of dogs and only used them. Started going there when they were under the post office in Venita. Dr. Stepensun still had the business (in Finleyville then) when I fostered out my dogs. I absolutely loved them. Over the past 2 years I got a dog and a snake. So of course went back to find there under new ownership, with new vets. Prices are no longer affordable, they primary concern is up selling you on unnecessary things. The vet seemed like she is skittish around dogs, not a good trait for a vet. I still need to find a new vet because I'm not going back. Vaccine clinics work for now, but at some point going to need a good vet.

Our dog is scheduled for her forth tooth extraction at Affordable Care. We love Dr Novelli. (We do take very good care of our dog's teeth, but her breed is prone to tooth decay. She's a greyhound).

My pets all go to affordable care. Ask them about Care Credit. If you qualify you have 6 months same as cash to pay. I did that for my dog's unexpected surgery.

Valley Veterinary Service, in Belle Vernon. Good pricing, very caring, very friendly, they remember you and your pets. I took my senior dog there and then eventually had to have her euthanized there and they were very kind and one girl that we know there even offered to be in the room with me. I just took my new puppy there yesterday and they were very excited to see her and be the ones taking care of her. I'm not too thrilled with Little Creek Farm vet. My senior dog went there and was registered as a patient there but when she got sick we tried to make an appointment and they never answered their phone and they never called us back and we tried multiple times multiple days, and then whoever we talked to got an attitude with us because we wanted to switch vets.

We chose to go to University Veterinary... we are here now
