I’m originally from the east coast so I’m on a constant search for good pizza - guess you would call it “NY style” here. So...where’s the best pizza?

Can anyone recommend a place with deep dish Chicago style pizza ?
Michelle S. replied:
Closest thing to the real thing is Taste Chicago in Burbank. It's Joe Montagna's place.
Kevin S. replied:
Zelo Pizzeria
Mark H. replied:
Masa Pizza in Echo Park, LA is the best this former Chicago guy has found out here, but I'll have to try some of the other recommendations on here!
Stephanie F. replied:
Hop a flight to Chicago. You can't get anything like it here. http://www.tastesofchicago.com. You can always get a good Lou Malnati's delivered frozen. Taste Chicago in Burbank isn't bad either when you are craving a taste of home.
Fyi: a local senior was scammed out of a significant amount of money. When his children found out, they took steps to protect their dad, and changed his phone number....
Donna K. replied:
Older Seniors get scammed very easily.... My mom answered the phone, they asked if they had her correct SS#. They read it out to her, it was wrong, so she proceeded to give them the correct one. I was in the room and grabbed the phone, they hung up. They did not get her full ss#......but it was a close call. I dislike people like that. Preying on the meek
I was told by a former Chicago-ian (is that even a word?? lol) that THE place to go for deep dish in LA is Taste Chicago in Burbank. I haven't made the journey to the other valley just yet, but I plan to.
