I am looking for a doctor in the Boone Co or nearby area. General practitioner-someone who deals more with middle-aged people and health/wellness issues as we age. Does...

Dennis and I both see Susan Jacob too; have been for over 10 years. We love her. My boss and his wife both see Tricia Wright and they like her a lot, but, yep she is on maternity.
Michelle M. replied:
Our family sees Tricia Wright. She is amazing. She is very easy to talk to and work with. She has a large family so never judges ours. she also won the Boone County doctor of the year award. I am not sure how well she does with middle age issues (we don't have any of those. hehehe) or when she will be back to work. My guess is mid-July (that would give her a 6 week maternity leave.)
April S. replied:
Dr. Tricia Wright at Witham Family Medicine. My inlaws have gone to her for years. When I finally decided to get a "doctor" (fortunately I am healthy), I decided to go to her. Now even my kids go to her
Lacy R. replied:
Todd and I both went to Susan Jacob in Zionsville and we both liked her quite well.
Hannah M. replied:
I love Dr. Tricia Wright too, and Dave sees Dr. Justin Wright. They both attend LCC. However, she just had a baby and is on medical leave for a while. Not sure when she'll be accepting new patients again.

Dr. Becker is GREAT!!!
Elixa R. replied:
Julie Becker only down side is she is a little hard to get appts with quickly:) and even if Dr. Witt was still here I would definitely NOT recommend her!
Tina W. replied:
Kathleen Halverson at Monticello Medical Center
Tina G. replied:
Dr. Becker is great family doctor and OB/gyn issues. Dr. Eid, female OB/GYN from Lafayette comes to Monticello every other week at the hospital. I would give both of these ladies excellent reviews.
Michelle H. replied:
Dr Julie Becker was great. Only reason I left her was because Monticello Medical isn't.
Debra M. replied:
Dr. Julie Becker isn't taking any new patients, last time I called a couple of weeks ago. I've been pleased having her as my physician in past years. I have to admire these Doctors when they realize that their patient load is enough to manage.
Kathryn S. replied:
Dr Bryce isn't taking new patients either last time I called there

Dr Diamond is overwhelmed with patients...he has taken in more than he can handle...my mother in-law was suppose to see him in June, his office called and rescheduled till October and now they called and rescheduled for November...she had a stroke and is suppose to follow up every 6 months and his office cannot even seem to keep one appointment for her
Kelsey H. replied:
Dr Tribbett is absolutely amazing!!
Emilena Y. replied:
Deb Weirick at iu health has been there for years and is amazing
Niki S. replied:
Dr Diamond is amazing! Yes, you have to schedule things in advance, when he sees my kids for their yearly appointment and physical they go ahead a schedule me for the next year. Once, when I had to take my daughter to the walk-in, the nurse knew she was a patient of his and he popped in the check her over after the nurse practitioner did. I was very happy about that. If he gets an opening, jump on it!!

Stephen Clingman, M.D. at Monticello Medical Center. ☺

looking for recommendations for a medical doctor for my elderly mother-in-law. :)
Katherine T. replied:
Dr. Charles Tribbett. He's a GP, but I'm pretty sure he also has a specialization in geriatrics. He does it all, though. His new practice is in Dr. Hadley's old building; I believe the intersection is Harrison and Railroad.
