Carlingwood mall is swarming with seniors. There are a lot of apartment buildings around it but I don't know which ones are good ones.

Do you know her budget? Housing specifically geared for seniors can be expensive but there are lots of buildings that are very senior friendly.

There are a few retirement homes that have independent living apartments attached to them. Might be something to consider :)

The buildings on Ambleside drive are very Senior friendly (my grandparents live inn one). They are condos but I know many are rentals, some may have renovated bathrooms.

Looking for a local Asian grocery store. Haven't seen many around. Ideas?
Ajay H. replied:
St-Henri is the worst for groceries. Ville Emard is the closest, Verdun is the bestest for Asian groceries: http://www.yellowpages.ca/bus/Quebec/Montreal/Enterprise-Wing-Cheong-Hong/7969048.html?what=Grocery+Stores&where=Ville-Emard+QC&useContext=true

Jaffna is okay but it didn't have the selection I needed. Wing Cheong Hong might work though.
