You can try the Honest kitchen freeze dried... They have several flavors... The Also have a base mix and you add your own protein. However this food is not made for KD dogs... You need to know your dogs numbers and if she has a phosphorus restriction too. You can always cook too just make sure it's balanced. There's also a company Darwins that has a kidney/renal formula as well but you have to order it online and provide a script from your vet. Weruva is good too.... I mix some Weruva with Dudleys KD food as long as his BUN is below 85

Early stage kidney disease in dogs doesn't need drastic protein reduction (it would be useful to identify what stage it is), but the protein does need to be human grade. I would switch to raw!!! I was in your shoes back in February! I switched my 9.5 yr old "early stage crf" dog to a raw diet with added supplements, and she's doing wonderful! We just had a check up the other day and there's no protein in her urine, her blood pressure is way down, and her numbers are all pretty good! I would also recommend a second opinion from a different vet, if you don't feel very confident with your current vet. Holistic vet preferred! If you do decide to switch to raw, there are certain proteins you should keep to a minimal and veggies try and keep the phosphorus values for protein and veg/fruit to a minimal. I did A LOT of research and talked to many people from this group and other groups, in order to help my dog!!
