I live in the Jefferson County area around St.Louis. We are looking for new trails to venture to, and possibly camp or hotel it up. Any suggestions on places you like to...

Cuivre River at Troy, MO also has nice trails and campsites, no cabins. Also Mark Twain lake now has equestrian campsites and a covered barn. both places have nice trails, but more for a weekend or shorter stay unless you don't mind riding the same trails each day.

New one in Sedalia. Make a nice trip if you go to the state fair. Could camp, ride and go to the fair. Nice cabins and good stalls. Creek to play in. Check out their website, www.vonholtenranch.com

There is Slabtown down in Licking, Mo. There is Golden Hills is Raymondville,Mo. just down the road There is 4-J also down hgwy 63. from Rolla. There is Big Creek in the general area as these others. All have hotel, or cabins if you don't have a living Quarters trailer. Also there is Pine Crest outside of Salem Mo.
