Andy is great. Also, Epic Shave on Jefferson is REALLY cool. Mary has it set up like a 60's era barbershop & does a great job. This weekend we are going to the Peoria Playhouse at Glen Oak Park. It's brand new. Also, the Zoo is a big hit with our kids (5 & 3). We also really enjoy the Fondulac Farmpark located off Rt 150 between Morton & East Peoria. We love the parks here in Morton as well as the awesome pool. Our son has been going off the high dive since he was 4...great lifeguards!

Does anyone know if there is a tree lighting this year or where? Thanks! I haven't heard any thing about it this year.
Holly M. replied:
The big tree downtown where Community Foundation used to be is there...not sure if it is lit yet but it has decorations on it.
Liz M. replied:
The Community Tree IS all decorated! Us Morton Tourism volunteers decorated it yesterday! While there are lights on it, it won't be lit until the tree lighting ceremony this coming Friday! You can go to Morton Tourism for more information and a schedule of everything going on Friday night! Dress warm and come have fun with us!
I am looking for an inexpensive barber or salon in Morton only. Looking for something that's $15 or less, tip included. I'm a guy, I don't need much cut off. :3
Rosalie W. replied:
Jim Fortman's is the best barber, price might be a little over $15 though.
Holly M. replied:
Patrick Ryan O'Flairty, next time please give Andy's on Main St. a try. He even shaves your neck with hot lather & a straight razor. He has an original working barber pole in front. Easy to find. Support small independent business if you can.:-)

Morton Walmart is so peaceful compared to pekin and east Peoria lol
