Check out the WERS rating of any prospective window suppliers and the glass / frame options and make sure they seal well and provide good ventilation when open https://www.wers.net/

I went with a NSW company from Wollongong , but very much like the Parhammer range, they did not do recycled timber, but there windows are very well engineered or https://passivehouseaustralia.org/member/unilux/

Hi Rob - If you want to see state of the art double glazed windows (with timber frames) being made in your neck of the woods, I recommend you check out https://www.facebook.com/283463098351741Paarhammer Windows & Doors. Their factory is in Ballan.

We used Stegbar Siteline and found design lacking, exterior metal cladding moves exposing the timber frame and painted hardware rusts.
