Our friend Chris recently moved to Georgia and he got a Penske rental on south Madison. He said there was free milage and the total rental was cheaper

Oh I've moved plenty of times lol! And I didn't think Two Men and a Truck did out of state moves.

If you can get a "full unpack" take it! It will be in your relocation packet. Then before the "big" move, if you can get into your new space a day before the movers arrive, spend time in the kitchen and decide whish cabinet is which. Mark with a post it note. On the door to every room, sketch a rough floor plan with major pieces of furniture that go. Include closets/windows to help them orientate you. That way you can spend time in the kitchen and get everything in a cabinet and leave flat surfaces for the next box to be unloaded. In a " full unpack" they won't actually put stuff away, but the unpacking of the box and individual papers and removing the boxes...priceless. Out of 4 moves across country we used Red Ball out of Crawfordsville. Same crew every state but that was 20 years ago. Last move to here was 15 years ago and we had an awful experience w/ one of the big guys. Best moving company in Indianapolis is Stuart's Moving and Storage. They have the same crews work year round. They move priceless antiques and Art. I have several friends who have used them and they move all of the Decorator Show Houses. You get what you pay for, if you are in any way being compensated, go for quality. If the smaller is on you, then the larger one later, see if they"ll negotiate. Or tell her (Jackie) your budget and ask what she can provide.

Go to upack.com and they will give u a quote online, they drop a pod off at ur house and pick it up and then deliver it to your destination, very reasonable and you only pay for the space you use so it takes out the guess work too... You can always hire someone once u get there to help you unload the heavy stuff... It's what most of my friends up here have used and we are all just about pros on moving by now lol

Or call THE MOVERS on council and ask for Rod and tell him I told u to call him !! I've worked for both company's !!
